La ceremonia de la edición número 68 de los Globos de Oro, organizada por la Asociación de la Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood, tendrá lugar en Los Ángeles el próximo 16 de enero. El discurso del rey es la máxima favorita con 7 nominaciones (Mejor Película, Mejor Director, Mejor Actor principal, Mejor Guión, Mejor Banda Sonora y Mejor Actor y Actriz secundaria). La siguen muy de cerca La red social, de David Fincher, y The Fighter, de David O Rusell, ambas con seis nominaciones. Otras cintas con opciones son Origen, Cisne negro y 127 horas.

Entre las nominadas a Mejor Película extranjera se encuentra Biutiful, protagonizada por Javier Bardem y dirigida por Alejandro González Iñárritu.
